Terms of Service

Please read these Terms. By using Encore, you agree to be bound by them. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
1. Acceptance
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and NEXCLAW PTE. LTD. ("Encore", "we", "us"), a company registered in Singapore. They govern your access to and use of encore.love and any related services (collectively, the "Service").
2. What Encore Is
Encore is an AI-powered interactive theatre — a web application that offers AI-generated companion characters, scenes, and stories for entertainment. Free users have access to a sample of content. Patrons supporting our Patreon campaign at $5/month or above unlock the full library and premium scenes.
3. Your Account
- Authentication is provided via Patreon OAuth. We do not maintain a separate password.
- You are responsible for keeping your Patreon account secure. Activity that occurs under your account is your responsibility.
- One account per person. Don't impersonate someone else.
4. Subscription and Payment
- Billing is handled by Patreon. We never see or store your payment method. Patreon's terms govern the payment relationship.
- Tier sync happens within minutes of a successful pledge. Premium content unlocks for as long as your pledge is active.
- Cancellation: you can cancel your Patreon pledge at any time from your Patreon account settings. Access to premium content remains until the end of the billing period for which you've already paid.
- Refunds are handled by Patreon under their refund policy. We do not process refunds directly. For billing disputes, contact Patreon support first; if you've been charged in error and Patreon cannot help, email us at hello@encore.love.
- Price changes apply to future billing periods only and will be announced in advance via Patreon.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Scrape, crawl, mirror, or systematically download content from the Service.
- Redistribute, republish, or resell Encore content on other platforms (social media, file lockers, archive sites, AI training datasets, etc.).
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to bypass paywalls, rate limits, or DRM.
- Use the Service to harass others, post unlawful content, or violate intellectual property rights.
- Use automated tools or bots to interact with the Service without our written permission.
- Access the Service if you are under 13 years old. Some content is further age-gated for mature audiences.
Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination of your account.
6. Content and Intellectual Property
- Our content: all characters, artwork, audio, video, scripts, code, branding, and UI on Encore are owned by NEXCLAW PTE. LTD. or our licensors. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to view and enjoy this content for your own non-commercial use while your account is in good standing.
- Your data: you own your account data. Granting us a license to display and process it is implicit in using the Service, but ownership stays with you.
- Feedback: if you send us suggestions, we may use them without obligation or compensation.
7. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Encore's characters and scenes are fictional and AI-assisted. They do not depict real people. Any resemblance to real individuals, living or dead, is coincidental. Content is for entertainment only and should not be interpreted as professional advice (medical, legal, psychological, or otherwise).
8. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NEXCLAW PTE. LTD. AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO PATREON FOR ACCESS TO ENCORE IN THE 12 MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $100.
10. Termination
- By you: you can stop using Encore and request account deletion at any time by emailing hello@encore.love.
- By us: we may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if continuing to provide the Service becomes commercially unreasonable. Where possible, we'll give notice.
- Sections that should reasonably survive termination (IP, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) survive.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced via the email on file or a notice on the site. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the new Terms.
12. Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.
